Yes. The epoxy used is purpose-made for drinking-water tanks, applied after the tank is cleaned and sanitised, and watertightness is tested before handover.

Your provider requires the tank to be washed every 6 to 12 months with proof kept, and at least one of those washes each year must be booked through Zabbitna. We remind you before it falls due. The waterproofing available through Zabbitna is for ground tanks only: thermal insulation and rooftop-tank insulation are not currently available, and major structural cracks need an assessment and a separate quote.

The technician inspects the tank and locates the leak points, then cleans and sanitises it and dries the interior surfaces, applies the drinking-water-grade epoxy layers and tests for watertightness, finishing with a written report handed to you, across the Eastern Province and from 1300.

How long is the tank waterproofing warranty?
Your ground-tank waterproofing comes with a written warranty issued by your provider, in the provider's name, by package: 5 years for Essential Waterproofing, 8 years for Waterproofing with Crack Treatment and 12 years for Full Tank Reconditioning. The warranty covers workmanship and the water-tightness of the treated surfaces, includes a free inspection visit for any concern during the warranty period, and does not cover damage from ground settlement, structural movement or third-party modifications. Zabbitna requires this warranty from every waterproofing provider on the platform, keeps a copy of your certificate, and helps you enforce it.
Condition for keeping the warranty valid: your provider requires the tank to be washed every 6 to 12 months with proof kept, and at least one of those washes each year must be booked through Zabbitna. We remind you before each one falls due.
If your provider leaves the platform during an active warranty, Zabbitna will use reasonable efforts to arrange an assessment by another verified provider. That does not mean Zabbitna carries the warranty itself: it remains the responsibility of your original provider.
What does Zabbitna stand behind in this service?
Your payment is held until the job is done. You pay Zabbitna through a secure link. Your payment is held and is only released to your provider once the job is done: it is released 24 hours after the job is recorded as complete, unless you raise a note in that time.
Verified providers. We check every provider's Commercial Registration and match their activity to the service, check the municipal licence where one is required, and confirm their technicians are their own sponsored employees. We inspect every provider in person before listing, and only providers who keep a 4.5 out of 5 rating or higher stay on the platform.
A price you know up front. The price you see is the price you pay: no hidden fees, no surprises, and nothing added at checkout.
A two-hour arrival window. You choose a two-hour arrival window at booking, the technician calls 30 minutes before arriving, we track arrival against the window on every booking, and providers who are repeatedly late are removed from the platform.
Free return visit. Tell us on WhatsApp within 14 days of the service and we arrange a free return visit with the same or another verified provider: on AC cleaning if you are not satisfied with the result, and on tank cleaning if you notice an unusual taste or colour in the water, or the published steps were not delivered. On every other service, the warranty and what it covers are set out on this page, and we arrange whatever it provides for.
Refund mediation. If a return visit is not possible or not accepted, we refund you to the payment method you used, under the terms of service.
